i'm back from a 12 days trip to nanjing...
well...
what can i say??
it was so fun!!!! =D
time just passes by real fast for that 12 days...
i learnt a lot too...
n i know the harsh truth of reality...

first day-- 1st nov
woke up REAL early...
went downstairs n waited for val uncle car to fetch me to airport...
reached airport at bout 5.55 am??
juz 5 more mins and we would have been late...
however not alot of pple were there when we reached terminal 2...
we went through the usual procedures like check-in and everything...
then it was time to board the plane!! SQ 837...

me n val place were like real close??
juz one seat away...
so i changed place with zhiyang... [ thanx!!! ]
and sat wif val for the whole plane ride...
it was fun using the facilities on board...
n thinking of a GREAT way to sleep =X
lol...

once we reached nanjing...
our tour guide, kelly jie and some of the teachers and principal of nanjing 29 sec sch were there to fetch us...
kelly jie introduced herself on the bus and brought us to our hotel-- nanjing mandarin garden hotel...
coz the three of us-- val, joanne and me were sharing one room...
our room was a little bit cramped...
but it was cozy!!! =)

we went out for a late lunch to a KFC juz next to the hotel...
then we went fu zimiao to walk around and familiarize wif our surroundings...
most of us all tasted bing tang hu lu for the first time!!!
but i didn't really like the fruit...
it had sooooo many seeds...
i only liked the honey coating outside...
=X

we took a rest in the hotel...
bok and pam even taught me and val how to play ' scissors, paper, stone'...
val had alot of beginners luck!!!
while i lost and even had to do forfeit wif pam...
then we went for dinner which was oso around our hotel area...
so we walked there...
tasted yan shui ya for the first time...
it tasted quite ok la...

had conference in the hotel conference room...
were asked to rite the diary...
at least 300 words each nite!!!
but gradually got used to it...
and even became a routine in my life...

2nd day 2nd nov
woke up at 6am...
and had breakfast in the hotel restaurant...
today we have to go for lessons in nanjing 29 sec sch...
so cannot be late...
we had a brief introduction to the sch history before proceeding on for our first lesson and a grp lesson--geography...
to me, it seemed more of a tour lesson bout nanjing instead of geography...=X
and the students in the sch all treated us like 'aliens'...
kept crowding around the room...
and staring at us...
lol...

our buddies came and fetch us to go to our respective classes for lessons...
i ended up in the same class as kang jie, aaron and zhong han...
zhong han and aaron are juz temporarily coz their class was having exams...
our class was 1/1...
and they were having an eng lesson when we went...
they were teaching bout halloween and other festivals...
we joined in and the students and teachers kept asking us qs...
i didn't get to ans any of them...
coz i saboed the other 3 guys to go up...=X

after the eng lesson...
we went back downstairs and had lunch in the sch canteen before going sight-seeing...
we went to see zheng he boat in the afternoon...
there were alot of models...
but the one that left a deep impression was the biggest one...
it was sooooo big that we can even go up all levels and take a look...
but the stairs were quite steep though...

after that had dinner before goin back to hotel and having our conference...
everyone had to stand up and tok bout our day...
luckily my class have 4 pple...
then they all say finish before it was my turn...
so i only said one sentence...
lol...
