Almost missed out on the classes due to my ortho appts.
As the uku lessons are on every Tues nights and my ortho only visits my branch on Tues. :(
So, I missed the 1st Uku lesson to have a discussion with Dr Seow and she is so so nice!
She agreed to come to my branch on Wed for 2 months just for me. <3 p="">
Thus! I could start attending lessons. :)
It's pretty fun so far but reminded me of why i didn't pick up guitar.
It is so painful LOLLLL
Especially with chord pressing and my sweaty palm doesn't help.
Val tried teaching me guitar before but i just gave up HAHAHAA
Seriously, I think piano is the easiest instrument to learn.
It's like no matter how you press, it will sound nice.... kinda? LOL
I realised I miss music and learning instruments.
I haven't been learning any new instruments since JC days.
YAY to smth new. :)
After the class, I actually ate alone at Bugis and... it surprisingly felt good.
The counter staff asked me if i wanted a student meal and i thought: why not? LOL
And pulled out my NUS matric card HAHAHHAA
I really enjoyed the meal alone and at that instant, I realised:
It has always been about the connection.
If anything, I felt more lonely last Fri than ytd.
Have been reading this personal excellence blog on relationships and I find what she says so relatable.
I am kinda tired right now.
You attract they type of people you are and what vibe you send out.
Law of attraction, I used to not believe in it, but now I kinda do.
So, for the rest of 2016, I am going to work on myself and be the best self I can be so that I send out the right vibes.
For now, I am very grateful to the people that are around me and standing by me.
Thank you.
You all, make the world a less lonely place. :)
